Mystery Box
Mystery Box is a Counter-Strike-style case opening where you spend XCredits to open a themed box and win a real Splinterlands card, delivered straight to your account.
How it works:
- Go to the Mystery Box page
- Pick one of the 20 themed boxes (Tidebreaker's Vault, Sunspire Treasury, Chaos Crucible, and more)
- Review the box's possible rewards, their values, and your odds — every box shows exactly what you can win and how likely each card is
- Choose which of your registered accounts should receive the card
- Click Open, watch the reel spin, and see where it lands
- The card you win is sent to your account automatically
The odds are transparent:
- Box prices range from 5,000 to 50,000 XCredits (XCredits are 1:1 with DEC).
- Boxes use varied prize structures: some are jackpot-heavy, some use classic odds, and some spread more probability through the middle of the prize table.
- The average reward is 85% of the box price in card value — a fixed 15% house edge, shown on each box.
- The full probability of every card is displayed before you open. Nothing is hidden.
Notes:
- You need to be signed in and have a registered Splinterlands account to open a box (that's where the card is delivered).
- Each box can be opened only once — once someone opens it, it shows as Opened. New boxes will be added from time to time, so check back.
- Each XBOT user can purchase one Mystery Box every 24 hours. After a purchase, the page shows the remaining cooldown.
- If two people try to open the same box at the same moment, only one opens it; the other isn't charged.
- In the rare case the exact card you win just sold out, the full box price is automatically refunded and the box reopens.
- If delivery is briefly delayed, don't worry — the win is recorded and the card is delivered as soon as possible.
